Christina Perri是一名来自美国费城的创作歌手，至今并未签约到任何厂牌。她的第一支单曲《Jar of Hearts》的首次亮相是在美国大型舞蹈选秀节目《So you think you can dance》上。随后这支单曲登上Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs 榜单19位。在此之前，她在洛杉矶一家咖啡吧担任侍者。新上榜单曲《储心罐》（Jar of Hearts）演唱者来自费城的美国女孩Christina Perri，24岁得她到去年为止都是白天做餐厅服务员晚上写歌录歌的草根歌手，但就在去年六月Christina终于时来运转，创作演唱的这首《储心罐》被美国一档大热舞蹈才艺秀So You Think You Can Dance节目的编舞听到，用这首歌曲编排了一支参赛舞蹈，节目播出后让这首歌也一夜成名，当时也搞得Christina Perri有些手足无措，因为她那时连个唱片公司都没有签！

所以后来的这段时间Christina忙于紧张筹备，也在本周终于把这首歌在英国正式推出了。《储心罐》是一首自传体歌曲，据Christina自己说是两年前回家度假时她的前男友忽然上门拜访希望能够和她重归于好，Christina躲在楼上不敢见他，复杂矛盾的心绪反倒激发出灵感，写出了这首《储心罐》，因为知道对方只是个喜欢收集他人真心的heartbreaker，而她在被上次感情刺伤之后已经清醒，不会再重蹈覆辙了。
