Prof. Pan, born in Guangzhou in 1947, graduated in Department of Engineering Chemistry, TsinghuaUniversity in 1970 and received MS degree in Department of Chemistry，Tsinghua University in 1980. He has been the visit scholar of MinnesotaUniversity and LuissiannaStateUniversity in USA, ToninoUniversity in Italy, Hong KongCityUniversity, Hong KongBaptistUniversity and Hong KongUniversity. His research interests are focused on the catalyst preparation and characterization, new synthesis pathway for energy and fine chemicals. He also solves chemical engineering problem for using new catalyst in industry production.
